Taking an unexpected day off or a mid-afternoon nap can do wonders for recharging your creativity! I’m still writing all my new ideas down from yesterday’s jaunt to the beach.
When working, we get into such a routine that your brain "expects" certain things at certain times and while this is great for ensuring you’re in the right frame of mind, it can also put you in a bit of a rut and you need to shake loose.
For those who have ever dieted, it’s just like losing some weight and then, doing all the same things you did to lose the weight, you now plateau. Your body needs some shaking up or your exercise routine needs some freshening up.
So clear your calendar for a day or a half-day and do something totally unlike what you normally do. Your mind, your body AND your business will thank you!
