Why I’m Loving Clubhouse

Clubhouse

Happy March!

We just enjoyed an amazing weekend in the 70s and 80s and I spent much of it walking with Buddy, my shit-zhu, and hosting rooms/speaking/listening to Clubhouse.

As the weather warms up, our goal is to visit/hike a new part of the state each weekend. When working from home, it’s good to get out (while staying safe!). 🙂

In case you haven’t yet checked it out, Clubhouse is an invite-only social media app available on iOS/iPhones.

What makes it oh-so-different and the reason I love it is that it’s audio-based — you can only participate live and it encompasses everything you’re interested in rather than being exclusively business-focused.

You indicate things you’re interested in and Clubhouse alerts you when a conversation/room is happening around that topic — and you can always host one yourself.

Here are some of the topics I’ve hosted/co-hosted rooms on this week:

* plant-based eating for health
* increasing retention in membership/subscription programs
* smoothie recipes to lower blood glucose
* success without hype in online-based businesses 10+ years profitable

You get the idea…

There are over 2 million users, many of them founders and business owners that you can ask questions of directly — no gatekeepers, no email black holes.

Interested in seeing what’s happening? I’ve found it’s easier to see topics (called “rooms”) by using this online-based Clubhouse rooms search instead of Clubhouse’s app-based calendar.
