Lessons learned from a Magic Bullet

Magic Bullet
Magic Bullet

Have you ever heard of a Magic Bullet?  They’re awesome little blender/chopper things and I can’t imagine life without mine when it comes to preparing my smoothies.

A few weeks ago, and after years of almost-daily use, it died.  Kaput.

Using my new one this morning, I walked away for a minute and came back to find that my smoothie was now ice cream.

You see, I’ve had the other for so long, it was so familiar, that I never realized when it stopped performing the way it was meant to.  That one smoothie mishap encouraged me to look elsewhere in my business, and life, for things which needed *upgrading*.

What are you “unknowingly” tolerating in your business:

  • Trying to do it all yourself and now realizing that you’re not as effective as you could be??
  • An unsupportive environment (space, friends, etc.)?
  • Clutter?
  • Time sucks?
  • Poor service from your vendors, coach, etc.?

Whatever it is (or “they are”), it’s time to identify and take a stand for that which will support you.  After all, your business should be about making your life easier, not more difficult.

And if you’re not sure how to go about it, I’d love to welcome you into my business through my revolutionary new initiative!
